The "free market" idol

The absurd idolatry (blind faith, basically) in the "free" market is (probably) an amber myth embedded in orange culture/society. It's not rational, although, its believers believe with Ayn Rand certainty that it is preeminently so. The "free" market doesn't exist. There are structures of power and privilege and oppression that are quite real. Get real, fools. Another thing: if we leave all decisions to the "market" we conveniently opt out of our moral responsibilities such as rational use of resources, social justice, on and on.
