Money does not equal free speech. Has it ever? Even in the misty-probably-misinterpreted or shallowly interpreted Founding Fathers' era, I don't believe Washington, Jefferson, Hamilton et al conisdered it so. Then we had the resurgent right put in the right-wing dolts we have now in the SCOTUS.
